Today we will be talking about one of my favorite technology company and that is GoGuardian. GoGuardian is a K-12 Web Filter but it does a lot more that just filter the network.
GoGuardian has 3 main types GoGuardian Teacher, GoGuardian Admin, and GoGuardian Beacon. Some of you may be asking yourselves well why are there so many types? That brings us into… What are the different types?
Well GoGuardian Teacher as said is the name is for teachers. This allows teachers to watch screens, lock screens, chat with students, and a lot more. This helps teachers a lot!
Next we have GoGuardian Admin, this tool is used for blocking websites, managing roles, adding users, and it’s basically the control panel. This is mainly used by principals and IT.
And lastly we have GoGuardian Beacon, this is mainly used by school counselors. This tool allows the counselors to know about self harm on the internet and being cyberbullied.
Now from reading all that I want you to think to yourself why do we need that and is it just spying on kids.
The answer is no. GoGuardian takes their data very seriously. And the reason we need it is because… GoGuardian is keeping schools across the world safe, and on task.
And also to add onto it… In my opinion GoGuardian is revolutionizing the world of Educational Technology
